Time to get raw...

2016 is going to be huge and it all starts with me!  Last six months I decided to 'try' the typical bulk season that people talk about.  Eating heaps and lifting solid and yes I admit my strength has gone up although I'm not sure if this transpired into muscle or simply strength I am yet to determined.

I've had a stack of fun eating and training these last six months with no particular schedule and I feel this has helped me develop a much healthy mindset so that I can tackle bigger and better things in the future.  As much as eating and lifting heavy is fun - looking and feeling like an elephant again sucks and it's time to kick my ass into gear and see what's beneath all of the insulation and find a better all year round balance and shape.  In some ways I am embarrassed from the extremes I've seen in 2015 but it goes to show how important mental focus, consistency, forgiveness, balance and diet/training play a part in outcomes.  I've learnt so much and will be applying all the knowledge in 2016 and continue to learn more.

So today I officially start my 2016 year of developing myself.  This starts with taking photos and stats.  Coming up a plan of attack and then ensuring I follow through with it.  Going to be true to the mission, be honest and show everything not only the parts I want to show but the ones people often leave out.  I'm not perfect and I have ups and downs and skinny and fat days, days where I feel like Hercules and others where I feel like a mouse but I always try the best I can at everything I do - work, home or with others.
